Roofing harness systems are an essential part of your safety equipment when working at heights. At Safety Plus Australia, we supply roofing harness kits, height safety fall arrest harnesses, fall arrest lanyards and ropelines, screw gates and snap hooks, anchor straps and more. All our fall arrest systems and roofing harnesses fully comply with Australian Standards 1891.4:2009, Industrial fall-arrest systems and devices and AS/NZS 5532:2013, Manufacturing requirements for single point anchor devices used for harness-based work at height. We provide various styles of harness designed for safety, usability and comfort. Features can include front and rear fall arrest designs, padded waist band, adjustable legs and shoulder straps, hi-vis webbing and trauma relief straps. We can also supply and install a range of rooftop safety features including roofing harness anchor points, permanent life lines and static lines, walkways and guardrails, fixed ladders, roof access hatch and other roof access systems including access platform systems and safety equipment. All installation work is carried out by qualified professionals who are licensed to work at heights.
A roof safety harness must comply with all relevant Australian standards and safety guidelines and legislation. Safety harnesses are required to be inspected every six months to ensure the equipment is compliant within its usable lifespan. At Safety Plus Australia, we can carry out height safety equipment inspections and certifications to ensure that all your PPE meets the appropriate safety standards and is compliant with all standards and regulations. We check the compliance labels and dates, ensure that the equipment has not been damaged and isn’t showing any signs of significant wear and ensure the webbing, straps, and metal fixings are all in good condition.
