Safety Plus Australia is a proud supporter of the Be The Ripple Project, a project of the CHAOS Network (Community Houses Association of the Outer Eastern Suburbs). They provide support to community members who are terminally ill and choose to die at home, and their carers.
Their work involves in home support to compliment health professionals and other care services. They offer companionship, cooked meals, light housework and gardening, going on outings, and through the Chaos Network information sessions, provide information and planning for end of life decisions.
Our contribution to Be The Ripple is very important to us, we have been lucky enough to be able to provide their clients with major gardening, handy man services, gutter cleaning and household maintenance items which enables them to stay at home and alleviates worry so they can focus on their own health. It also gives a great feeling of giving back to the community and team solidarity and we feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to help the community through Be The Ripple.
