Keep Your Safety Anchor Points for Roofs

Roof safety anchor points are designed to provide safe access to fall-risk areas such as roof edges and other elevated structures. These products allow workers to safely conduct work at heights such as maintenance of roof-mounted equipment, roof safety inspections and roof cleaning.  At Safety Plus Australia, we offer the best safety roof anchors and anchor points. All of them are designed to meet all the compliance and safety needs of your premises. They can be safely installed in both indoor and outdoor environments.  There are two types of anchor devices, fall arrest (15kN) and rope access (12kN). A fall arrest anchor is designed to arrest your descent should you fall from the roof meanwhile rope access anchor devices are designed for twin rope or abseil access. These two anchors have different load capacities which should be checked and confirmed prior to any use.  These systems are ideal for those who require continuous roof access as this type of fall arrest system does not require constant detaching and reattaching like most anchor point systems. Anchor point systems should be used only by industry-qualified individuals while using compliant harness equipment and site-specific PPE. All anchor devices should be inspected and recertified every 12 months or as per manufacturers’ specifications by an industry-qualified inspector.
